An interesting little application for LCD users that will help you if your screen has gone all wack on you. With my macbook being a little less than 3 months old right now, I’m not too worried about it. I was originally concerned with my TV, but it stays off for the majority of the time(thankfully). The craziest thing to me was that the LCD manufacturers don’t really know what causes it. NEC seems to think that it is related to ionic impurities in the display or electric charges building up on the electrodes in the display. The NEC white paper article is pretty dull, but the blog from the maker of LCD Scrub is pretty entertaining.
