If you are blog reader(does anyone read this?*) and not a blog writer you probably don’t even think about it. Really there is no reward except for personal satisfaction(similar to the satisfaction of a creator of any kind). I like having a blog because I like having an excuse to write about things that I think are cool that I would otherwise not probably talk to people about.

Personal satisfaction aside, writing your opinion anywhere and expecting someone to not only want to read it, but to find it, has always seemed a little pretentious.

If you are a blog writer, writer, reviewer, or content creator of any kind, you are familiar with the dilemma of content. Where does your content come from? Should I post 4 posts a week?
….20 posts a week?
How much is too much? How much is too little? Should I write a post questioning the validity of the very thing I am posting it to?

But I digress, I guess what I’m saying is that it is not a rewarding venture posting a blog that is basically about nothing and expecting people to read it, react to it, or tell anyone else about it.

Mostly thank you to all of you that do read. You validate me ever so slightly and knowing that anyone cares enough to take the 30 seconds out of their usual web browsing just to see what’s up with me is heart warming.

*Quite honestly, I’m a big enough nerd that I go in and monitor the web traffic to and from my little dingy, cobweb filled corner of the internet and see if I’ve had more than the 0 usual readers. I exaggerate, though—I’m sure my Mom reads this. Love you, Mom.

Now, I’m a man who wears a kilt most of the time. One could make the conclusion from that statement alone that I’m a guy who is pretty strong in his masculinity. This post, however, could bring it all crushing down. What you see above is the Bra Baby.

“What’s a Bra Baby, Nick?”, you ask.

“Not really sure,” says I, “…but it’s damn crafty”.

For the lady types in the audience, it’s a crafty little bra holder for the washing machine. Apparently there has been a long history of that staple of womens undergarments coming to grief while being laundered.

when you hit puberty they take the crayons away and replace them with books on algebra etc. Being suddenly hit years later with the creative bug is just a wee voice telling you, “I’d like my crayons back, please.”
